In a New York City, inhabited by machines, one droids encounter with a mysterious stray cat triggers visions of a human life he doesn't understand, gaining an emotional connection he was never designed to experience.
SYNOPSIS
In a future New York City, populated entirely by machines, Kit lives an isolated existence in Brooklyn's Sector 3. His routine is unexpectedly disrupted when he encounters something completely foreign to his world, a living cat.
What begins as fear slowly develops into an unlikely bond. But as Kit grows attached to the mysterious animal, he begins experiencing visions of a human mother and child, images that feel strangely familiar despite belonging to a world he shouldn't remember.
As those fragments become increasingly vivid, Kit is left confronting a question he cannot answer; Why does something so human feel like a memory?
PROJECT STATUS
Cuddles is currently being developed as an independently produced animated short film. Storyboarding has been completed, with approximately 160 shots mapped for production. Modeling, environment development, character development, and voice production are currently underway.
